Perfect For Mom & Kid’s Day Out: Happynest Play & Learn Cafe

Perfect For Mom & Kid’s Day Out: Happynest Play & Learn Cafe

Working at home did allow me to check on my child almost anytime I want; but that’s not always the case. Deadlines, household chores, and other errand limit my time with him so I try to make it a habit to take him out every week (or every other week, whichever is convenient).

This week, we tried visiting Happynest Play & Learn Cafe at SM San Lazaro. It’s been ther since last year but we always chose other indoor playground. We thought it’s a little expensive; I mean, at some amusement center, 1 hour costs P150. But here, that’s good for 40 minutes. Was it worth it though? Let’s see.

One-Of-A-Kind

Unlike other playground, Happynest Play & Learn Cafe literally has a cafe with it. You can feast on pastas, rice meals, smoothies, coffee, and more. I thought about this concept a few years ago but wasn’t lucky enough to have the capital to push it through. 😂😂 But well, I’m happy that someone else has executed it.

Here’s their menu, btw:

We didn’t tried any of the food yet but will definitely consider it on the next visit.  It’s perfect if you want to have some time alone but you can’t leave your tot at home. The playground itself is equipped with CCTV on all areas, allowing you to monitor your kid as you sip your hot coffee (That’s the first! We know how much you hated that room temp coffee you have at home but what to do? Hello, children!)

About th playhouse — all I can say is wow! It’s bright and playful and any little one’s will be left stunned with its vibe. I saw my kid’s jaw dropped. 🤣

There’s a space for all kinds of kid — the energetic, quiet, girly girl, adventurous, challenger, problem-solver, musician, etc. It’s as not as big as most Kidzoonas but it def have everything.

It has toy cars, horses, a slide, a tent, and even piano. Children who want to sharpen their imagination and creativity can go on a role play, cooking and serving food. Those who want to read and have their own space can go upstairs, read books, or play the piano. Otherwise, they can play kinetic sand and form shapes or go fishing. 30 minutes is simply not enough. Next time, I think we’ll spend 3 hours inside (yes mars, pati ako nag-enjoy).
