Photos of glass-skinned models are all over the Internet so why not give it a try? After all, who doesn't want to achieve that Korean glow? Also, as an online seller, I need to try the products I'm planning to resell before I introduce it to my shop.
To cut the story short, I gave it a try and after a few days, I love the glow it made my skin but it didn't last long. After a week or so, I ditch it because of the following cons:
- After another week of using it, my skin’s very dehydrated. I’m not using any product aside Ryx Skincerity cleanser and serum.
- The skin around my nose and mouth area is peeling and I feel a slight burn. I also noticed that the area around my mouth is darker – parang nasunog sya besh!
- Also noticed the blemishes on my cheeks and it's a no-no! 😞
- It’s pricey and with my experience, I don’t think it’s worth the price.

I have nothing against RYX 'cause I heard a few feedback from my clients about how it transformed their skin. However, it's kind of alarming to see a lot of negative reviews on my blog alone.As of now, it has over 50 negative reviews on my post and a friend asked me to help share awareness about what happened to her, she even sent before and after photos and a screenshot of her convo with Rica Detiquez, which I think is the CEO of Ryx Skincare Products .
And as a beauty blogger, I felt the need to share it for reference. I do not mean to cause any harm against the brand; I just want to give a reference to those who want to see real reviews, too. Also, I'm calling out to those who are experiencing the same thing not only to this brand but also to other products. YOUR REVIEWS MATTER and your complaints count, too.

On top of that, she needs to wear a mask when going out because of what happened, she cannot even go to work. But the saddest part for me is, I don't think she received any apology from the brand. I mean, okay, there's no harmful chemical used, skincare really is not a one-size-fits-all, and nobody forced her to use Ryx Skincerity at all.
But I think it won't hurt to sympathize with your clients. After all, a business will be useless without them.

I was about to order na sana dito sa ka-officemate ko kasi nag didistribute din sya ng ryx, then almost half ng mga girls workmates ko nagamit ng nitong product, yung iba sa kanila nakaka-2nd or 3rd order na ng ryxskincerity then i noticed maganda ang packaging, nakaka engganyo na din bumili, but since i already read all these comments/reviews, thankfully po hindi pa ko nagsasabi sa katrabaho ko na oorder din ako, siguro nga wag kagad papadala sa dahil bago, maganda ang packaging, at iilang good reviews, much better magresearch muna sa product na gustong bilhin. Maybe mag stay nlan ako sa ponds hehe high school pa lang yun na gamit ko and until now na working na still no allergies/rashes occured.

Hi sissy, I have some friends din naman na Ryx User. Hiyang sila. Ako, hindi talaga. I also used Ponds nung naghahanap ako ng bagong routine. Mas safe ung balat ko sa kanya. :)

DeleteHi, today is my 6th day, and gosh, my chin and lower lip are burning so much, super mapula parin yung skin ko. naglalagay nako ng ibang gamot para hindi masyadong masakit. it's really painful. i used to talk to different people kaya it's really awkward. I thought 1 week lang. pero hindi natatapos, till now nagpepeel ako. pahapdi ng pahapdi. i sometime stop to use the toner, it's really super painful, ung sugat na nalagyan ng alcohol. parang nasusunog tlg yung muka ko.

Hi ate , the reason my ganyang reaction yung skin mo is di satin pwede ang mga matatapang na product. Actually same tayo ng nangyari when i used the product .. then i research a lot to find out bakit ganun yung reaction ng skin ko sa lahat ng product lalong lalo na kung matapang. Yun pala meron tayong direct allergic contact dermatitis, so ingat po next time . Sensitive po kasi ang skin type na meron tayo.

ReplyDeleteI am not a user of this product, pero yung cousin ko is fan nito kasi hiyang sya. it was stated on the packaging it is REJUVENATING Toner, serum etc. sa pagkakalaam ko lahat ng rejuv sets na pampaganda is nag pepeel off talaga, kagaya ng dr.alvin, droplets skin perfection, porcelana and brilliant essentials, at kung sensitive skin ka dapat mag pa tets ka muna sa derma mo kung pwede kaba sa ganito or ganyan. Been using lots of rejuv set na pangit ang side effect pero I never complain talaga, kasi baka nga hnd sya hiyang sakin so what I did is tinigil ko nalang, wala naman akong mapapala kung magsasabi ako sa iba na pangit ang ganito gnyan kasi nakakasira dn yan sa business ng iba.

DeleteNakakatulong ang blog mo sis! I don't like skincerity too. Tignan mo lng ang ingredients. Kung may alam ka talaga s skincare, hindi ka magpapadala s itsura ng model. Ang isang mahalagang decision factor ay ang ingredient list! I bet in the future sira balat ng mga long time user nito at maagang magmmukhang matanda kc nkksira ng Skin barrier at masama sa balat ang ingredients ng products ng RYX. Hindi paninira ang post mo, review mo lang ito at base to s experience mo at s na experience ng iba.

Medyo nangingitim din Yung buong mukha ko 🙁. Ever since Wala akong ginagamit na product sa mukha ko . Ditto Lang ako naenganyo .hayyss 😌

DeleteIts my 5th day using ryx rejuv set.. 2nd and 3rd day my fave looked very red and burned, but its peeling now, so better na yun skin color ko. But its soo itchy, and i messaged ryx official IG, and they said i should use aloe vera (plant) and serum (didnt give any specific brand) to make it better. Im giving it until this week to see if it would get better. Wish me luck ladies!

DeleteI also used Ryx ganda kasi ng effect sa co momshie ko. 2nd and 3rd day namumula ung cheeks ko pero di kasi ako lumalabas kaya medyo okay din kasi ECQ :D Tapos may micro peeling on 4th pero di ako nagbakbak ang mukha unlike sa co-momshie ko na nagtutuklapan talaga balat niya. Siguro dahil once a day lang gamit ko after a week of use. Nakaramdam din ako ng pangangati on 1st week pero ngayon wala na, wala na din micro peeling. Wala din akong purging although may naramdaman lang ako parang bumps pero di siya nag break out. Ang maganda nito naglabasan yung white heads pero konti lang naman tapos pinisa ko na lang. Now I am using it every night na lang. Kuminis na yung mukha ko compare sa dati and may slight na lightening sa skin. I was looking kung anong next set after this kaso ito ang nabasa ko mga negative results.

Ah oh! Nagpaplano palang ako bumili ng Ryx Rejuv set. Gusto ko din sana kuminis face ko eh. Yung clear skin. 🙂 Pero natatakot talaga ako baga mas lalong dumami pimples ko. Pabalik balik akong nagreresearch about sa reviews nito, nakakalungkot lang, kasi marami pa rin talaga ang mga negative feedbacks. So stick nalang ako sa Ponds. Tutal nahiyang naman ako dun.
ReplyDeleteIt's my first time na mag rejuv based sa mga positive comments napabili ako. I'm on my 4th day na mapansin kong parang nasusunog face ko and sobrang peel and sobrang dry. Sobrang itchy and mahapdi na rin siya. Pag check ko para akong na sun burn. I don't know what to do kung normal pa ba yung effect nung product or what. Please advise kung ano magandang gawin.
ReplyDeleteHi sissy, from my experience with other products. Minsan naninibago ung skin but the only worst thing na normal that could happen is ung small white bumps na mamawala in less than a week. Ung kati or sunog or hapdi, I don't think it's normal po. Based sa comments about Ryx, maraming naka-experience ng adverse effects. May mga nahiyang pero kung ganyan din po, I think it's best to stop it.

DeleteI discontinue use ryx rejuv dahil sobrang hapdin na nya banda sa baba ng eyes ko akala ko ren magiging maganda ang kalalabasan pero hiyangan pala talaga ganda kase ng mga feedback kaya naengganyo bumili kaya now back to nivea nalang ako.

ReplyDeleteHi. Good evening po. I tried the starter kit rejuv set nila. Normal yung parang nagbuburn ang feeling then nagpaplit balat kasi rejuv set siya. Maganda talaga effects niya sakin. As in. Nawala talaga yung melasma ko. Pero the negative part is after kong gumamit ng rejuv set, naglabasan na mga malalaking pimples ko at mga butlig butlig. Im so stressed. I dont know what to do. Gusto ko na talaga umiyak. Last march ako nagstart ng rejuv set. Tas hanggang ngayon ginagamot ko pa mga pimples ko. Sobrang nakakastress na po. Wala akong pimples dito, pero ngayon sobrang tadtad ako sa noo. Ang iitim pa ng pimple marks. Sobra na akong naiiyak. Nakakahiya at nakakawala ng confidence.i really regret na nagryx ako. Dapat kung san ka hiyang, dun nalang talaga.
ReplyDeleteMy sister recently bought this product and gave it to me para gamitin dahil for almost 3 months na nagkaroon ako ng pimples na worst than my past pinple experience, dati 2-5 pimples lang nagsshow up now naging map sa forehead and right side ng face ko.. I have a sensitive skin, i did patch test muna and it seems okay.. first day use mukhang ayos nman may stingy sensation when using the tiner which is normal naman daw pero second night of using after applying serum, prang ang itchy ng feeling and mahapdi, then by morning ang lala tignan, my cheeks looks swollen parang kamukha ko na ang chipmunk dhil maga talaga siya.. reddish and makati ung feeling at mabigat, sabi ng mother ko para raw ako nakaprosthesis.. today third day, i i u uda the facial wash, toner, and ung sunscreen first time ko palang gagamitin since my sister told me to use it kahit nasa bahay lang.. pero i think i don't have any plans to continue using the product to complete the "ritual" of the day&night product netong starter set.. it's been hours now and mas nagworse tignan ung face ko more like naging square jaw ako sa pagkaswollen nya and it is itchy.. i only use Ponds pure white for years since highschool and ayos siya sa sensitive skin ko, pero i had irregular menstruation recently na halos 2 months no period and dun nagstart ung pimple outbreak ko kaya my sister gave me the ryx starter kit products to use.. it's depressing to feel na you thought it is safe since you did patch test muna pero it has gotten worse pa.. I don't know what to do now pero i hope days later my face will get back to normal from being swollen..
ReplyDeleteAnother negative comment from me. Bought 2 sets of clear bomb dahil sa hype. Wala pang one week, nag peel na ako which I was looking fwd to. Fast forward to a couple of days, may napansin akong rash sa neck. Di ko pinapansin until sa nadagdagan ng maliit na another rash sa left neck and 2 pimple bumps sa may shoulder. It triggered me to search online if may same rin ba sa akin then stumbled upon this blog. After reading the comments tinapon ko na ung remaining and I plan to gift the other set to a friend but will warn her also, nasasayangan naman ako at baka humiyang siya sa clear bomb.
ReplyDeleteSo right after reading this, natapon ko na ung tira which is masakit for me since mahal rin but ok na kesa naman ikapahamak ko pa lalo. Nag wash rin ako ng face at neck ng good old bioderm and I felt relieved somehow. Di na mabigat sa pakiramdam at nabawasan ang kati ng rashes. Nagpahid rin ako ng dr teals na body oil to relax my skin.
Thanks sa blog sis, I might stick to water nalang talaga. I would've loved the peeling effect but ryx isn't for me.
